Happy New Year 2013 to ALL in the Grants/Milan area!
Victory Church Of God is Celebrating 50 Years Of Service to this community and we’re sending out this open invitation to everyone who has ever been a part of this congregation or those who would like to be, to join us for any of our times in fellowship, as we long to continue to be an effective ministry in the lives of all in this community.
Victory Christian Academy is Celebrating 20 Years Of Service as well, so we’re asking all who have ever attended, taught or volunteered at the school to come by, revisit us or consider enrolling your student with us. We are committed to bringing our students the best in Christian Education, using nothing, but the best Alpha/Omega curriculum.
It light of all the above, allow me to share some scripture that I think is most relevant for the times that we live in. Leviticus 25 tells us all about The Year Of Jubilee, which is a great celebration, where the promises of God, that The Bible says are Yes & Amen In Christ Jesus, are looked forward to in the fulfillment of Messiah, which in Greek is The Christ. Like Christmas, the New Year or Resurrection Day (Easter), every believer should celebrate the blessings of God, that we have all received through His Grace. The Word Of God says that the sun shines on the just and the unjust & that the rain falls on both as well. Many know the song, Imagine, by John Lennon (we will be showing the movie, ‘Genius’ at the church in future months). As many of our readers have made New Year resolutions, putting the old things behind and vowing to make most, if not everything in 2013 new, this is what The Year Of Jubilee is all about and The Life, Death & Resurrection of Jesus Christ (check your calendar, because 2013 is considered by most, to be The Year Of Our Lord).
The Book Of Isaiah The Prophet has more Messianic Prophecies than any other book in The Bible! Read Isaiah 61 & Luke 4 to see for yourself how the Old & New Covenants agree that this is God’s Year for the lame to walk & the blind to see. The Lord shall set the captives FREE In This Year Of Jubilee, so join us!
